Admission Requirements

  • Admission shall until further notice, be by entrance examination and interview only.
  • Intending candidate is to buy Application Form for admission fully filled and returned before or on the date specified.
  • He/she must score an acceptable grade at the common entrance examination and must pass the interview (written and oral) arranged for short-listed candidates based on the entrance examination.
  • Candidates seeking admission into J.S.1 should show an evidence of having attained the age of ten as at the school resumption time.
  • Candidates seeking admission into S. S. 1 should have successfully completed Junior Secondary education and should have taken the JSC Examination. Any applicant admitted while still awaiting the result of the JSC Examination risks the chance of repeating J.S. S. 3 if he/she fails the JSC Examination.
  • Applicants for J. S. 2 and S. S. 1 are to submit the following:

  Original and photocopy of continuous assessment and documents showing that they are qualified for admission to the next class or they are to repeat the class.

  • An international student seeking admission into the school must have completed the equivalence of the Primary School Leaving Certificate for admission into J.S.1 and junior School Certificate for S.S.1.
  • Candidates seeking admission into SS1 are to submit photocopy of their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE)results.

Applicants who are successful in the entrance examination and interview shall be given FORM A2, which is the letter of

offer of admission. They will also receive FORM A3, which is a document or letter of guarantee that must be submitted to the Students’ Affairs Department of the school before a candidate is finally admitted into the school. Parents and the wards or children (applicants) must read FORM A2 and A3 very carefully as they contain important information and instructions on how to process admission and payments.

A student found to have used forged or falsified documents to gain admission would be expelled immediately.

As a student resumes, he/she would fill an undertaking form, pledging to be diligent and hardworking, that he/she

would obey the school rules and regulations, the staff and authority. That should he/she be found wanting in this regard, he/she would be disciplined accordingly.

CLASS ATTENDANCE

Regular and punctual class attendance is required of every student and it’s taken as an expression of the student’s desire

to succeed in his/her studies. The school will recognize only absence due to illness and real emergency if and only if the

school is aware of such by formal letter from parent or guardian, and the information must reach the Principal on time.
