Mathematics makes our life orderly and prevent chaos. Certain qualities that are natured by Mathematics and ICT are power of reasoning, creativity, abstract or spatial thinking, critical thinking, problem-solving ability and even effective communication skills.
Mathematics and ICT are the doors and keys to all other sciences. It is the language with which God wrote the universe. However, Mathematics and ICT are not about numbers, equations, computation or algorithms, but it is about understanding.
The department was carved out of Science department of our great citadel of learning in year 2020.
